GVK EMRI: Government of Himachal Pradesh and GVK EMRI launched 108 Emergency Response Services in Himachal Pradesh on 25th December 2010 under the name of 'Atal Swasthya Sewa'. Hon'ble Chief Minister of the Himachal Pradesh, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal in the presence of Hon'ble Minister for Health, Dr. Rajiv Bindal, launched the services by making first dial to 108 and flagging off 50 Ambulances as the first phase of the project. People of HP can dial toll free number 108 and avail free emergency response services in no time. The second phase launch on 15th February2011 of 21 Ambulances was flagged off by hon’ble Chief Minister from Dharamshala. The 3rd launch on 28th March 2011 of 29 Ambulance was again flagged by hon’ble Cheif Minister from Shimla.
